【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversacleaninganddescalingprocedureusefultoproducers,users,andfabricatorsoftitaniumandtitaniumalloysfortheremovalofordinaryshopsoils,oxides,andscalesresultingfromheattreatmentoperationsandforeignsubstancespresentassurfacecontaminants.1.2Itisnotintendedthattheseproceduresbemandatoryforremovalofanyoftheindicatedsoilsbutratherserveasaguidewhentitaniumandtitaniumalloysarebeingprocessedinthewrought,cast,orfabricatedform.1.3Itistheintentthatthesesoilsberemovedpriortochemicalmilling,joining,plating,fabrication,andinanysituationwhereforeignsubstancesinterferewiththecorrosionresistance,stability,andqualityofthefinishedproduct.1.4Acidetchingmayberequiredfollowingcleaningwhenthesurfacehasanoxygen-contaminatedlayeroralphacasepresent.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
