【摘要】:Theparticulatesizedistributionofvulcanizateparticulaterubberisusedforthepurposeofassigningaproductmeshoraverageparticlesizedesignation.TheproductdesignationformeshsizefortheRo-tapmethod(MethodA,asfollows)isbasedonthesizedesignationscreenwhichallowsarangefortheupperlimitretainedofmaximum5%forupto850x03BC;m(20mesh)particles,maximum10%for600to150x03BC;m(30to100mesh),andmaximum15%for128to75x03BC;m(120to200mesh).Norubberparticlesshallberetainedonthezeroscreen(seeTable1,ClassificationD5603).ForMethodA,theweightpercentretainedonaspecificscreenisnotedwhereasinMethodB(ultrasonictechnique),thenumberofparticlesataparticularsizeiscounted.MethodBaddressesproblemsthatmaybecausedbytackinessandstaticelectricalforcesthatrecycledrubberparticlesexertoneachothertoformagglomerates,especiallyfor80meshorfinerparticles.Thismethodeliminatesagglomerateformationbyultrasonicallydispersingtheparticles.Bothmethodscanbeusedasaqualitycontroltool.1.1Thesetestmethodsdescribetheproceduresfordeterminingaverageparticlesizedistributionofrecycledvulcanizateparticulate.1.2MethodAdescribestheRo-tapsievetestmethodfor60meshorcoarserparticles.1.3MethodBdescribestheultrasonictechniquecombinedwithopticalmicroscopeespeciallysuitablefor80meshorfinerparticles.ThisprocedureisbasedonTestMethodD3849.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
